Most people will never see the deep ocean. But it’s full of life, color, and untold stories that matter to all of us. This week at the United Nations Oceans Conference, we opened the Deep Blue Pavilion—a space for the public to step inside this hidden world. Together with our partners at OceanQuest, Schmidt Ocean Institute, MBARI, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), Scripps Institution of Oceanography, and the Avatar Alliance Foundation, we brought decades of deep-sea exploration to lif
