Sky watchers in the Northern Hemisphere had the chance to catch a once-in-a-1,000-year sight, as a glowing green comet (Comet C/2025 A6) came into view over San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge on Oct. 19, and over Martin’s Beach, south of the city, on the following night.
