Hazmat crews spent more than five hours cleaning up a diesel spill in the middle of the city early this morning. 200 litres flooded an equipment room of a highrise on George Street. It happened as a worker was filling a generator fuel tank. Firefighters were able to mop up most of the diesel, but some leaked to the floor below through a service duct.
